ANZ has confirmed it's looking at sending around 23 New Zealand jobs offshore.
It follows an announcement yesterday from the bank's Australian arm that 131 jobs from Sydney offices are being moved to India.
An ANZ spokesman says the company is always looking at ways to make the business more efficient, and it makes sense to play to each countryâ's strengths.
The 23 roles are operational processing functions, not frontline roles.
The bank says at the same time, it is looking at what jobs it can bring back to New Zealand.
