Entire house goes missing

An entire home has been robbed - no, not just the contents, the entire thing.

An entire house disappeared overnight in the United States, and police are baffled as to its whereabouts.

Audacious thieves stole the 110-square metre wooden home from its foundations in Oregon, and no-one has seen it since.

In a press conference, Klamath County Sheriff Frank Skrah says police are investigating the theft.

“We have a complete home stolen” Skrah said.

Skrah clarified that the home was not on wheels but was on a solid foundation when it was stolen, as can be seen in the photo he holds.

“This isn’t a motor home, this isn’t a mobile home - this is a home,” Skrah said.

According to Oregon news channel KOBI, nobody was home at the time of the theft.

The "house was reported missing" to police on 24 February and the homeowner has since been notified.
