Gen-i and UXC Oxygen partner

Telecom’s ICT services division Gen-i and SAP solutions and cloud company UXC Oxygen have partnered to make uptake of SAP mobile solutions even easier for New Zealand organisations.

The new partnership will make consuming Gen-i ReadyCloud Mobility easier for customers as they can now leverage their existing business relationship with trusted SAP consultancy and business partner UXC Oxygen.

ReadyCloud Mobility is a business applications and management solution hosted in Gen-i’s cloud. It enables people to manage business processes on the go - from everyday requests like annual leave to complex job scheduling and sales pipeline management.

Through Gen-i’s partnership with SAP, ReadyCloud Mobility integrates with SAP solutions so that customers can immediately deploy applications and tap into their business processes. As a cloud-based service, customers can add users as their business needs change.

UXC Oxygen General Manager - New Zealand, Paul Mihaljevich, said the move to the cloud is simplifying the way businesses can procure, implement and support mobile applications.

"Cloud provisioning reduces the complexity of IT application and services delivery. It provides cost certainties and delivers real business value. Working with Gen-i we will provide seamless, end-to end services to support the procurement, implementation and support of SAP mobile applications."

Gen-i Head of Mobility Richard Adams says the company is actively developing a mobility ecosystem through partnerships with leading business systems consultants such as UXC Oxygen, to accelerate the mobilisation of business processes.

"By partnering with trusted experts like UXC Oxygen we can help remove some of the real and perceived barriers to mobility, in particular for customers with more complex ICT environments. The mobility journey will be that much simpler and faster for organisations already consuming SAP applications, now that they can tap into our ReadyCloud Mobility solution alongside UXC Oxygen’s SAP consulting and services expertise."

UXC Oxygen will provide the SAP customisation and configuration know-how and ability to integrate the mobile applications with back office systems. "This partnership reduces supplier complexity for customers and gives them fast and effective access to a mature mobile solutions offering," said Mihaljevich. "Once an organisation is mobilised effectively it can increase the efficiency of its day-to-day business processes and deliver greater service satisfaction to customers."

Gen-i ReadyCloud Mobility is device agnostic and provides fully supported mobile service management across IOS, Android, Windows and BlackBerry platforms.
