It has been a frustrating month for exporters with the high kiwi dollar.
It's hit 82.40 US cents.
Business correspondent Roger Kerr says every time it looks like it will drop, it bounces back up again.
He says it could be a while before it does come down.
"Some currency analysts are now picking that the New Zealand dollar will be closer to 85 (US) cents than 75 (US) cents in the next 12 months."
Roger Kerr says for the meantime, capital inflows are still attracted to New Zealand as a safe haven.
