InternetNZ appoints Adam Hunt to DNCL Board

InternetNZ (Internet New Zealand Inc) today announces the appointment of Adam Hunt to the Domain Name Commission Limited (DNCL) Board and the reappointment of Kenneth Johnston.

DNCL is the InternetNZ subsidiary responsible for developing and monitoring a competitive registrar market, as well as creating a fair environment for the registration and management of .nz domain names.

Auckland-based Hunt is a seasoned financial risk and ICT executive, having previously worked as Head of Strategic Intelligence at the Financial Markets Authority and in senior leadership roles at Oracle, Inland Revenue, Turners & Growers, Gen-i and New Zealand Post.

Wellington-based Johnston is a Barrister and Chair of both the Financial Services Complaints Scheme and New Zealand Teachers Disciplinary Tribunal.

Domain Name Commission Chair David Farrar says DNCL is pleased to have an individual of Adam’s caliber and experience joining the Board and welcomes Kenneth Johnston’s reappointment.
