Doubts the Novopay debacle will be sorted out before Christmas.
The primary teachers union says further problems have surfaced with payments to third parties, including Kiwisaver, IRD and child support.
NZEI president Ian Leckie, who's been underpaid himself, says superannuation payments ceased with the introduction of Novopay, and are still to be reinstated.
Meanwhile NZEI Secretary Paul Goulter says there's a lot of end-of-year holiday payments due next week.
He says as Christmas looms and shut-down periods are imminent, schools are heading into a precarious situation, which will come at huge personal cost.
"There are only a couple of pay days between now and the end of the year, and we're not expecting that everything is going to be fixed in that short (of) a timeframe."
Mr Goulter says it shows a woeful lack of preparation for the roll-out of Novopay.
President Ian Leckie says with so many errors it can't be fixed in such a short timeframe.
"Office staff, payroll staff, are going to have to be in there every fortnight, right throughout their holiday break, sorting all these issues out."
