More details are emerging about the rate of pay increases for state sector bosses.
The trend's revealed in State Services Commission papers released under the Official Information Act.
They show in the last financial year there was a 2.8 percent increase in base salaries, with 79 percent of chief executives getting a pay rise.
The documents also show the number of state sector employees getting six figure pay packets has slowed.
The rate increased by four percent last year, down from the 10 percent recorded the previous year.
