AAP – Thu, Dec 6, 2012 1:36 PM NZDTThe jobless rate has unexpectedly fallen to 5.2 per cent after the number of people in employment rose by 13,900, Australian Bureau of Statistics data shows.
Economists had expected the November report released on Thursday to show a rise in the unemployment rate to 5.5 per cent, from 5.4 per cent in October, alongside a 5000 decline in job positions.
