Property Council names new Member Laureates

Property Council will today recognise outstanding contributions to the New Zealand commercial property industry by naming three Member Laureates.

Peter Wall, Stuart Kendon and Mal McLennan are being honoured at a function after Property Council’s Annual General Meeting in Auckland, for their time, expertise and highly sought after advice throughout many years.

Property Council chief executive Connal Townsend says Property Council’s National Council approved the three people as the first in a programme designed to pay respect to both contributions to the organisation and the industry.

"Property Council’s 38-year history as a member-led organisation has seen many people volunteer huge amounts of time and expertise. Many of the most significant industry changes have been due to volunteers’ focus and desire to give back to the industry.

"We are much stronger as an organisation and an industry for having these passionate members and they deserve to be recognised.

"I am delighted to announce the first three Member Laureates, who are all worthy of our respect and gratitude."
