The Serious Fraud Office has launched an investigation into the affairs of yet another former director of a financial services provider.
It wants to hear from anyone who has invested with Andrew Robinson - the former director of Auckland-based Strategic Planning Group Limited.
The SFO's Acting Chief Executive, Simon McArley, says the Office began looking into the matter after being contacted by the Financial Markets Authority late last year.
He says initial information provides reasonable grounds to believe serious fraud may have been committed in relation to investment funds received by Mr Robinson.
Mr Robinson ceased being a director of Strategic Planning Group in December.
