Let’s now look at Charter Communications’ (CHTR) performance in the video space. Charter’s residential video customer count fell ~1.8% YoY (year-over-year) to ~16.2 million at the end of the second quarter. On a net basis, Charter lost 73,000 residential video customers, compared with 91,000 in the second quarter of 2017. Wall Street had expected a loss of 108,000 subscribers.
