French drugmaker Sanofi said on Thursday it would restructure the U.S. commercial operations for its vaccines and cut an undisclosed number of jobs. Sanofi would implement a "streamlined strategic sales structure" to better support its customers and patients, it said without disclosing any details on the changes to be made, the timeframe and the number of employees to be impacted. Chinese government-linked hackers have burrowed into U.S. critical infrastructure and are waiting "for just the right moment to deal a devastating blow," FBI Director Christopher Wray said on Thursday. An ongoing Chinese hacking campaign known as Volt Typhoon has successfully gained access to numerous American companies in telecommunications, energy, water and other critical sectors, with 23 pipeline operators targeted, Wray said in a speech at Vanderbilt University. Reuters first reported in March, citing sources, that the founding family was looking to take the company private, six years after a similar attempt turned out to be unsuccessful.
