Target Stock Looks Attractive Heading Into Earnings, UBS Says
We think Target’s setup heading into the second-quarter print [on Aug. 21] is favorable. The market is grappling with recession fears, uncertainty related to tariffs, recent volatility in consumer spending, and the risk to the second-half outlook. On one hand, we agree that there are more uncertainties facing discretionary retailers than 90 days ago, and Target wouldn’t be immune to a broad-based pullback in consumer spending.
