Alphabet: A Look at Waymo’s Partnerships with Jaguar and Honda

Alphabet (GOOGL) is gearing up to report its 1Q18 results just as its autonomous driving arm, Waymo, is preparing to launch a public ride-hailing service using driverless cars. Waymo’s ride service is expected to launch in the coming months—first in Phoenix, Arizona, where the company is currently piloting the service. Waymo has been testing its driverless taxi service using Chrysler Pacifica minivans supplied by Fiat Chrysler (FCAU).
