The 120-person company, eASIC, makes customizable eASIC chips that can be used in wireless and cloud environments. The companies didn’t disclose the financial terms of the deal.
South Korea's Hanwha Solutions said on Thursday that its solar panel making unit Hanwha Qcells will cease its China operations as it focuses on the U.S. market. U.S. President Joe Biden will travel to Syracuse, New York, on Thursday to announce a preliminary agreement with memory chip maker Micron Technology for up to $6.14 billion in subsidies for two chip factories, the White House said.
