Insiders were net buyers of Alight, Inc.'s (NYSE:ALIT ) stock during the past year. That is, insiders bought more stock than they sold.

While insider transactions are not the most important thing when it comes to long-term investing, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether.

Check out our latest analysis for Alight

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Alight

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by Independent Director Richard Massey for US$841k worth of shares, at about US$8.41 per share. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of US$8.92. That means they have been optimistic about the company in the past, though they may have changed their mind. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. The good news for Alight share holders is that an insider was buying at near the current price. Richard Massey was the only individual insider to buy shares in the last twelve months.
