Allergan on an upswing, Vail Resorts soars, Johnson & Johnson dips

Let’s check out the Yahoo Finance charts of the day.

Allergan (AGN): Shares are up in early trade, around 3.6%. Billionaire investor Carl Icahn has acquired a small stake in the drug maker at a time when Allergen is under pressure from other activist shareholders. Icahn didn’t comment on the investment.

Vail Resorts (MTN): Shares are up here, around 6.1%. The resort operator’s revenue beat forecasts with quarterly earnings of $6.17 per share, 5 cents a share above estimates. Season pass sales were also up 12 percent in units compared to a year ago.

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ): Shares are down around .2%. J&J received a $2.7 billion offer from Fortive Corporation to acquire its advanced sterilization products. The company confirmed receiving the offer and said it had four months to accept it.
