VELDHOVEN, Netherlands (AP) _ ASML Holding NV (ASML) on Wednesday reported third-quarter earnings of $791 million.

The Veldhoven, Netherlands-based company said it had profit of $1.86 per share.

The equipment supplier to semiconductor makers posted revenue of $3.23 billion in the period.

ASML shares have risen 4.5 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed nearly 3 percent in the last 12 months.
