Aust shares open more than 1% lower

The Australian share market has opened more than one per cent lower.

At 1010 AEDT on Friday, the benchmark S&P/ASX200 index was down 56.5 points, or 1.11 per cent, at 5,026.3, while the broader All Ordinaries index was down 52.5 points, or 1.02 per cent, at 5,099.3.

On the ASX 24, the share price futures index was down 55 points at 5,011, with 9,772 contracts traded.
