Bank of America (BAC) Dips More Than Broader Markets: What You Should Know

Bank of America (BAC) closed at $24.58 in the latest trading session, marking a -0.73% move from the prior day. This move lagged the S&P 500's daily loss of 0.04%. Meanwhile, the Dow lost 0.22%, and the Nasdaq, a tech-heavy index, added 0.16%.

Coming into today, shares of the nation's second-largest bank had lost 10.78% in the past month. In that same time, the Finance sector lost 5.92%, while the S&P 500 lost 4.99%.

Wall Street will be looking for positivity from BAC as it approaches its next earnings report date. This is expected to be January 16, 2019. The company is expected to report EPS of $0.64, up 36.17% from the prior-year quarter.
