Bullish TrickleStar Limited (Catalist:CYW) insiders filled their treasuries with US$2.3m worth of stock over last year

Quite a few insiders have dramatically grown their holdings in TrickleStar Limited (Catalist:CYW) over the past 12 months. An insider's optimism about the company's prospects is a positive sign.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

TrickleStar Insider Transactions Over The Last Year

The Executive Chairman & CEO Bernard Emby made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for S$1.5m worth of shares at a price of S$0.20 each. That implies that an insider found the current price of S$0.21 per share to be enticing. That means they have been optimistic about the company in the past, though they may have changed their mind. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. The good news for TrickleStar share holders is that insiders were buying at near the current price.
