Mega-star Cardi B is one of the most successful women in music and the winner of multiple awards and diamond records. The 29-year-old musician and mother of two (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) is also a major trendsetter, a Met Gala regular who has wowed fans with a Pamela Anderson-style updo, XXL red hair that gives major Ariel from The Little Mermaid energy and a Valentine's day look that has *all* the rips and cutouts.

But despite all of her success and glamour, she's still totally candid and open-hearted when it comes to sharing her own personal struggles.

Earlier this year, she bravely opened up about her feelings during a defamation trial filed against YouTuber Latasha Kebe (known online as Tasha K) for spreading rumours about Cardi, including that she had cheated on her husband. "I felt extremely suicidal," Billboard reports the rapper told the court, with TMZ also reporting she "felt defeated and depressed and I didn't want to sleep with my husband."

Last year, she also took to Instagram Stories to discuss her post-birth body following the birth of her second child. Dismissing rumours that she had undergone plastic surgery after giving birth, she got candid, adding "My skin is still loose and I still got a little pouchy pouch right here, and if I showed you my back fat... but f*ck it!"

Now, she's continuing the candour with a new post on Twitter, showing herself completely makeup-free. With her hair loose and reclining on a bed, a blanket pulled up to her chest she still looks stunning, but her caption boldly lays her insecurities bare. "Forehead foreheading ,Mustache mustaching [sic]" she wrote.

Her fans were keen to celebrate the move, with one writing "U definitely encourage us ladies who feel insecure about their lil peach fuzz to embrace it" and another simply commenting "you’re so real and beautiful babe".
