When it comes to fashion and beauty, nobody is as chic and sophisticated as the French. The French lifestyle and culture has been emulated by It-girls everywhere and is the inspiration behind Celine’s latest fragrance.
Celine is launching their new fragrance, Rimbaud as a tribute to French literary legend Arthur Rimbaud.
Hedi Slimane discovered the poet as a teenager and embedded this into the scent. The fragrance is symbolic of the fragility of being between childhood and adulthood. The scent is made up of lavender with delicate vanilla and musk notes.
The perfume is a part of the “Haute Parfumerie” collection reminiscent of French high perfumery. The collection is comprised of 11 androgynous perfumes chosen by Slimane with each scent being inspired by its title. Rimbaud is the tenth scent in this collection and is very personal to Slimane because of its symbolism.
Celine’s new Rimbaud fragrance is now available in boutiques and on celine.com.
