Christine Quinn's life transformed with new phone

Christine Quinn has “upped [her] Instagram game” after getting a new phone.
The ‘Selling Sunset’ star – who has two-year-old son Christian Jr. with husband Christian Richard – thinks “every part” of her life has been “upgraded” since she got a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G because it has made taking photos so much easier.
And what’s more, the device has even been good for her marriage because Christine doesn’t need to rely on her spouse to take the perfect photo anymore thanks to its clever clamshell design.
She said: “I’m always running around, and oftentimes, instead of bringing a purse, I’ll put my phone in my bra. I can do that with this phone.
“But I also use my phone for creative purposes, so having an amazing camera is a huge priority for me. I really think this phone has upped my Instagram game like you wouldn’t believe.
“I used to constantly ask my husband, ‘Can you take photos of me?’
“But with the flip, I can fold the phone in half, so it can sit on any surface to take a picture of myself. The camera takes a picture if you say words like ‘cheese’ or ‘smile’ instead of having to press the self-timer and run to get into position.
“It also has a preview on the cover, so I can see what I look like before I take the photo.
“I know a lot of iPhone users are afraid to make the switch, but this phone has upgraded every part of my life.
“And my husband loves it, too, because I never have to ask him to take photos anymore.”
It’s no surprise Christine loves taking photos with the phone – which comes in green, cream, phantom black and lavender and retails at £949 – because it’s got everything a social media star needs to keep their feed fresh.
There’s a pair of 12MP cameras on the cover – one of which is an ultrawide unit – while there’s also 10MP selfie camera in the centre when the device is unfolded. Portrait, panorama and night mode offer great quality and she can even make her meals look even more mouthwatering thanks to the brilliant Food mode.
The 33-year-old star can share some great video with crystal clear quality, even when using flip mode to do it hands free. There’s an option on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G to record in 4KUHD at 30 and 60 fps fully stabilised, with regular 1080p and 30fps shooting modes available too, and it can be made more dramatic with Slow-Mo or Hyperlapse speed, or even Super-Slow Mo.
The slim device has IPX8-rated waterproofing so can survive being submerged in water for up to 30 minutes up to a depth of 1.5m, and it’s got added durability thanks to a protective film applied to the inner screen, which has made it more scratch resistant, and a layer of Gorilla Glass Victus on the cover screen. The metal frame and hinge have been built with Armour Aluminium, which the manufacturers claim make it 10% more durable than the previous model.
