CORRECTING and REPLACING CUPE’s Ontario School Board Council of Unions Responds to the First Offer

Today, the Council of Trustees’ Association (CTA) and the Crown presented their first offer to CUPE’s Ontario School Board Council of Unions (OSBCU), representing 55,000 education workers in the province.

The offer, unfortunately, consisted of significant wage cuts, amounting to an average of less than $800/year in the face of the skyrocketing cost of living. It also included concerning concessions around sick leave and more.
