Demi Lovato Shares the Festive Trailer for 'A Very Demi Holiday Special' Featuring JoJo, Paris Hilton and More

The pop-punk star's Christmas special premieres on Dec. 8 on The Roku Channel

Get ready to ring in the holiday cheer with Demi Lovato.

The pop-punk star, 31, is gearing up to release their first-ever Christmas special, A Very Demi Holiday Special, on Dec. 8 on The Roku Channel. In anticipation of the upcoming streaming event, the singer-songwriter (who uses she/they pronouns) shared the official trailer on Instagram on Wednesday.

The teaser previews footage of the holiday special, which follows the “Sorry Not Sorry” singer as she get in the Christmas spirit with a handful of famous friends and perform their own covers of seasonal classics.

The clip offers a sneak peek at all of the celebrity guests, including fellow performer JoJo, model/entrepreneur Hailey Baldwin Bieber, reality star Paris Hilton, drag star Trixie Mattel, comedian Tiffany Haddish and sports commentator Rich Eisen.

Based on the trailer, fans can expect Lovato to sing a duet with the “Too Little, Too Late” artist, whip up festive treats with Hilton, make ugly Christmas sweaters with the Girls Trip star, dance a special rendition of the Nutcracker with the former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant and more.

With the hitmaker taking the stage in a regal, all-black gown and the inclusion of an animated alien riding in Santa’s sleigh in the special, it also appears as though the alternative superstar is putting an original spin on the timeless tradition.

“So jump on your space ship, your bike or your sleigh, and let’s all get ready for A Very Demi Holiday,” a voiceover says in the trailer before Lovato adds: “Also, aliens are real and I’m going to Mars, bitches.”

A Very Demi Holiday Special hits streaming on Dec. 8 on The Roku Channel, which is available to anyone with a Roku device. Fans can tune in on their device, online or in the mobile app, and through Amazon Fire TV, Samsung TV and Google TV.

The “Skin of My Teeth” singer first announced the program in early October. At the time, a press release revealed she’ll be singing spirited favorites like “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” “Jingle Bell Rock” and “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” as well as some of their own hits.

The former Disney Channel star also shared a statement in the release, saying, "the holidays are such a special time of year, and I can’t wait to put my special twist on the celebrations!”

The REVAMPED artist is among the executive producers of A Very Demi Holiday Special, along with OBB Pictures.

Next year, they’ll team up with OBB Pictures again to release their directorial debut Child Star, a Hulu documentary about former famous child stars’ experiences growing up in the spotlight.
