An Aussie company is offering up a $5,000 pay day for someone to simply go to a few festivals, rub shoulders backstage with the headlining stars to get some premium social media content.
Most festival lovers would have their phones out to capture the magic of the event anyway, but if you score this paid festival ambassador job, not only will you be paid - you won’t have to fork out for a ticket.
Alcohol company Tempus One has put the call out for applications to attend Spilt Milk, Heaps Good and Rolling Loud, which features artists like Post Malone, Flume and The Avalanches.

Spilt Milk festival tickets are currently selling for $204.95, Heaps Good tickets are available from $169.90, and Rolling Loud start from $305.71, which would set back the average festival goer $680.
But you aren’t expected to go alone. A mate can join you for free, which puts the savings up to over $1,300. And that’s not including your pay day.
But there is a catch.

Travel and accommodation not included
Any travel and accommodation required to get to the festivals are not included in the price amount and will be up to the winner to organise.
Spilt Milk is taking place in Canberra, the Gold Coast, Ballarat and Perth, Heaps Good will be happening in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, while Rolling Loud is coming to Sydney and Melbourne.
So if you’re not already located in these cities, you’d have to work out how the cost of travel and accommodation stack up. For example, flights from Sydney to the Gold Coast for a long weekend would currently set you back around $337 return, while a hotel would start at around $338.
It's something to think about given many Aussies are spending less on travel due to cost-of-living pressures.
What’s required and how do I apply?
A spokesperson from Tempus One told Yahoo Finance the chosen winner will be “required to create content throughout each festival, which will be posted across the company’s social accounts on TikTok and Instagram”.
"[They] will have behind-stage access with the opportunity to meet festival artists and will be able to watch the show stage side,” they said.
To apply for the job, you need to tell Tempus One in 200 words or less why you are the ultimate festival goer in Australia. Share your love for festivals, your favourite moments and memories, and what makes you the ideal candidate.
