Ericsson: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

STOCKHOLM (AP) _ Ericsson (ERIC) on Thursday reported third-quarter net income of $327.8 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Stockholm-based company said it had net income of 10 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 12 cents per share.

The telecommunications equipment provider posted revenue of $6.42 billion in the period.

Ericsson shares have climbed 31 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has risen 48 percent in the last 12 months.
