Foodgod dishes on upcoming Kris Jenner-production, Staten Island and culinary empire

Social media influencer Foodgod (formerly known as Jonathan Cheban) has amassed an impressive following as a self-proclaimed foodie who eats out 365 days a year — and now has his own show to document the decadent adventures.

The Kris Jenner-produced series, appropriately titled "Foodgod," drops on Discovery+ November 14, and features celebrity appearances including Kim Kardashian, Fat Joe, Criss Angel, and singer Anitta.

"It's all about experiences these days, so it's not just about the big food...it's about the actual experience and the real original creativity of chefs coming up with the food," Foodgod teased about the new series. It was filmed at hot spot locations in Los Angeles, New York, Las Vegas and Miami.

"We found really cool, really original places that people coming out of pandemic, people starting to travel, people coming from Europe are going to be like, 'Oh, we got to go check this place out,'" he added.

The newly minted host, who fans also know as Kim Kardashian's longtime BFF, frequently appeared on E!'s long-running reality show "Keeping up with the Kardashians."

With Jenner serving as executive producer, Foodgod said he received some sage advice from the world famous "momager." She told him to just "be myself because on the 'Kardashians' we really are ourselves."

Despite his ties to the famous family, Foodgod said it took him 15 years (and a lot of taste tests) to finally make it big in the food influencer space. In addition to the Discovery+ series, the entrepreneur also has his own product line, which includes truffle ketchup and CBD snacks.

"The success is sticking to the brand and sticking to 'Foodgood,'" the influencer said when asked about his journey to fame (Foodgod legally changed his name to the quirky moniker back in October 2019).

"When I first started it people were like, 'What's Foodgod?' Why am I calling you Foodgod?' But I just kept going with it and it paid off," he continued.

"My biggest piece of advice? Don't listen to anybody and stick with it."

After eating at restaurants all over the world, Foodgod said the coolest place he's ever dined was Sublimotion in Ibiza. He explained that the entire restaurant was a virtual, 4D experience with a sky-high price tag of $3,000 per person.

"It was a most amazing experience — I went three times because I couldn't believe what was going on. Every time it's different, so that's probably my most over-the-top experience," he told Yahoo Finance.

Over in the U.S., Foodgod's fans and followers have been curious about the cuisine options in Staten Island, after Kim Kardashian was spotted out to dinner in the borough with Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson.

Staten Island has "amazing Italian...I've eaten [there] twice. Once with Renee [Graziano] from 'Mob Wives' and once with Big Ang," the influencer revealed. He added that there were a few "mob rules" he had to follow while dining with the reality stars.

"I have to start going back," he added.
