BEIJING (AP) _ Hollysys Automation Technologies Ltd. (HOLI) on Tuesday reported fiscal first-quarter net income of $27.9 million.

On a per-share basis, the Beijing-based company said it had net income of 46 cents.

The maker of industrial, rail and subway automation systems posted revenue of $138.7 million in the period.

Hollysys Automation shares have dropped 17 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $18.53, a fall of 21 percent in the last 12 months.
