Hollysys Automation: Fiscal 2Q Earnings Snapshot

BEIJING (AP) _ Hollysys Automation Technologies Ltd. (HOLI) on Friday reported fiscal second-quarter profit of $44.1 million.

On a per-share basis, the Beijing-based company said it had net income of 72 cents. Earnings, adjusted for amortization costs and stock option expense, came to 73 cents per share.

The maker of industrial, rail and subway automation systems posted revenue of $149.5 million in the period.

Hollysys Automation shares have risen 17 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Friday, shares hit $20.56, a decline of 20 percent in the last 12 months.
