IBM disappoints, Square gets some love, Overstock may have a suitor

Let’s check out the Yahoo Finance charts of the day:

IBM (IBM): Shares are dropping in midday trading, by about 4%. IBM did report an earnings beat and its first revenue jump in 23 quarters, but it’s full-year profit guidance missed the mark.

Square (SQ): Shares are pushing higher in early trading, up around 4%. Analysts at Nomura raised their price target to $64, claiming the payment company is “analogous to Amazon or Google in their early days.”

Overstock (OSTK): Shares are gaining here in midday trading, up around 4.5%. The New York Post reports Kroger is taking a look at Overstock. Remember, Overstock CEO Patrick Byrne said last month that he wants to sell or reorganize the e-commerce unit to focus on blockchain applications.
