There's a strong demand for New Zealand cows in China.

There are a number of benefits for New Zealand farmers including allowing them to upgrade their stock, to cows which offer higher milk yields.
Waikato dairy farmer Roger Blunt says at the moment demand is high, but you never know what the future holds.
"The market will stay relatively strong, but that could also diasppear overnight too if, for whatever reason, they decide to stop buying."
Roger Blunt says the cows need to tick a number of boxes before they get sent off to China.
