Another local dairy company has found traces of the agricultural chemical DCD in its milk products.
Westland Milk Products commissioned tests through an independent laboratory after the compound was found in some Fonterra products.
Chief executive Rod Quin says minute traces of DCD have been found in samples produced before November last year, but they do not pose health risks.
He admits some customers in Asia have already requested tests be carried out and further testing is being done.
Rod Quin says they will report the results to customers as soon as possible.
