There's disappointment over New Zealand's stance on the Kyoto agreement.
A United Nations climate change conference in Doha has voted to extend the Kyoto agreement until 2020 - although New Zealand's joined Canada, Russia and Japan in voting against the proposal.
Green Party climate change spokesperson Kennedy Graham says the Government has wilfully misrepresented the situation.
He says the Government can't just decide not to be a part of it because other big countries aren't either.
"Under the 1992 convention there was a distinction between the developing countries and the developed countries. That distinction still obtains until the 2020 global agreement kicks in."
Kennedy Graham says that comes into force eight years from now.
