A crucial Supreme Court decision on the Maori water rights case will be revealed this week.
The Maori Council went to the court this year, asking it to overturn a High Court ruling that ruled the Government's partial sale of energy company shares would not affect Maori water rights.
The Supreme Court ignored a government plea for the decision to be revealed by the middle of this month - instead it promised to release it by the end of February.
The Prime Minister is confident the court will rule in the Government's favour, and if so, it's all steam ahead.
If John Key's wish is met, it means Mighty River Power - which last week recorded huge profits - will be up for sale by May.
The Maori Council though, is warning the fight's not over.
