It's no secret that Jennifer Aniston is into fitness; over the years she's been open about how she stays so strong – from barre classes to boxing.

As for what she's been doing in the gym lately, in a new interview the Friends star said there are two workouts she's prioritising right now. "I'm really focusing on Pilates," the 53-year-said, adding: "I love a three-minute plank."

She pointed out that she also does strength training whenever possible. "I always have five to eight pound weights in my trailer [or] in my hotel rooms if I'm away," the actress told PopSugar. "And if I'm watching television or winding down, reading emails, [I] just use my weights."

And it's not just her physical health that she works on; she dedicates plenty of time to her mental health, too. "I really, really give a lot of credit to morning meditation," Aniston added. "Don't just mindlessly wake up. Wake up, take a moment. Don't look at your phone."

She went on: "I'm having mindful mornings. [It's a time to] observe my thoughts, so I actually know what I'm doing and I understand my focus for the day."

Taking care of her mental health is something she made a priority during the pandemic. "We were dodging Omicron like Donkey Kong," she explained, recalling how spikes in Covid last year threw a three-month filming stint into disarray. "I don't think I really understood the amount of stress we were enduring during those three months."

As a result, "I wasn't working out like I normally do," she says of that period of time, which led to a back injury when she then tried to jump back into her usual fitness routine, although she admitted that she's "slowly getting back into it".
