Article updated on 19/05/2022: Following news that Kim Kardashian not only passed the 'baby bar' law exam after three failed attempts, but received a 'near-perfect' score, episode six of The Kardashians has been aired, showcasing her moment of victory.

It shows her finding out that she helped secure mercy for Julius Jones, who was convicted of a 1999 murder and spent 20 years on death row, before his execution was called off.

It's revealed on the show that she pushed for him to be granted clemency.

During the start of the episode, Kardashian meets with Scott Budnick, founder of the Anti-Recidivism Coalition, who she's been working with over the past few years to help scale down on unjust prison sentences.

In a confessional, Kardashian says: 'Scott Budnick is a good friend of mine and he's really dedicated his life to prison reform. He's the first person who brought me to a prison.'

She adds that 'once I realised I could make a difference, it was really hard to stop'.

After Budnick asked her what she wants to do after passing the baby bar exam, she says: 'I think it would be cool to start a firm that does just justice reform and only hires formerly incarcerated people,' which he deemed 'so cool'.

She then explained to him: 'Just do stuff like help fund cases and help fund getting an investigator.'

When learning of the news that she'd passed her baby bar exam, Kardashian was dining with her kids at Red Lobster and her assistant said her results were ready and available to access via her phone.

'I'm just gonna open them and see if I passed the bar,' she says in a confession, as her kids and Tracy Romulus join her in the car.

She admits getting into the car to avoid everybody staring at her if she was upset.

After a group prayer, Kardashian confesses her nerves, saying 'you are only allowed to take the baby bar a certain amount of times. This was the last time I could ever take it, so if I don't, this law school journey is over for me'.

When trying to log into the portal to retrieve her exam score, the password fails, and she appears agitated, before saying the system is the 'slowest thing', adding 'my heart is racing'.

She asks Romulus: 'When did I take it?' before saying in relief: 'I passed!'

After Romulus and her kids scream, Kardashian, in disbelief, asks the former to double check.

Romulus exclaims: 'You passed!' and teary-eyed Kardashian says: 'I'm so happy. Like I literally didn't think I did.'

Still in denial, she says: 'Are you sure that said I passed?'

Romulus reconfirms again, before Kardashian is shown saying in a confession that she cried because 'I know how much time and effort I put into this'.

She later fills her law professor Chuck Shonholtz in on the good news, saying: 'I am so excited, Chuck I could not have done this without you.'

The mum-of-four then adds that she's at Red Lobster because North won her first basketball game and she went to the car due to not being able to wait any longer.

She later gushes: 'We did it!' while still on the phone.

Another clip from a confessional shows her saying: 'I am so happy North is here to see this because my kids know that I've taken time away from them to study.'

After later high-fiving her daughter North, she says: 'Big wins today for me and you.'

Kardashian continues: 'And to see that I never gave up just makes me so happy that I can show them by example that you just really can't give up on something if you want to make it happen, because you can do it, no matter what.'

She's later heard saying: 'Everyone told me this was the impossible way and there was no way I would ever pass this test, and I did.'

Article updated on 11/04/2022: After Kim Kardashian revealed that she finally passed the 'baby bar' law exam, having previously failed it three time, the aspiring lawyer's results will now serve as an example for future students.

An essay she wrote for the test has been selected as a 'model answer' for future test takers, according to the aspiring lawyer.

Kardashian shared news via her Instagram story that her test was chosen after it obtained the highest score. Her law tutor Sam Arlen Farkas then posted the announcement on her own Instagram story.

He wrote: 'So proud of @KimKardashian!!! Looks like her essay with a nearly perfect score... Got. Picked. As. A. Selected. Student. Answer!! Well done, Kim!! [sic]'

Kardashian later explained the news to a friend who asked what it means.

'It means that when I took the bar my essay scored the highest so they used my essay as the model answer to show future people taking it what the answer should be. I legit screamed when my professor Sam told me!' she wrote on Instagram.

Article originally published on 13/12/2021: Kim Kardashian has finally passed the 'baby bar' after three failed attempts, and wore Balenciaga to celebrate (naturally).

On Monday the reality star – who reportedly has filed legal documents to become ‘officially single’ – announced the fruits of her labour on Instagram. In the post the mother-of-four wears head-to-toe electric blue Balenciaga, which features a matching train and gloves. The star has chosen to wear Balenciaga for several key moments in recent months, including the 2021 Met Gala and last week's E! People's Choice Awards.

‘Looking in the mirror, I am really proud of the woman looking back today in the reflection,’ she wrote in the post.

The star continued, noting that her law school journey to date has certainly not been easy nor has success been handed to her.

‘I failed this exam 3 times in 2 years, but I got back up each time and studied harder and tried again until I did it!!! (I did have COVID on the 3rd try w a 104 fever but I’m not making excuses), [sic]’ she noted.

The Californian-based celebrity continued, explaining that in the state budding lawyers must take two bar exams in order to qualify. The first is known as the First-Year Law Students' Examination and is widely referred to in legal circles as the 'baby bar'.

‘I was told by top lawyers that this was a close to impossible journey and harder than the traditional law school route but it was my only option and it feels so so sooooo good to be here and on my way to achieving my goals, [sic]’ she noted.

Kardashian went on to thank her biggest advocates in recent years, including her mentors and professors.

‘Thank you guys for putting in the hours and teaching me everything I needed to know! 10 hour days, daily 4 hour zooms, our in person practice tests week after week. We did it!’ [sic]'

Kardashian also paid tribute to her father, the late Robert Kardashian Sr who was an attorney and was a member of OJ Simpson's murder trial legal defence team.

‘I know my dad would be so proud and he would actually be so shocked to know that this is my path now but he would have been my best study partner,’ she wrote. ‘I am told he was notorious for making fun of people who didn’t pass on their first attempt like he did, but he would have been my biggest cheerleader!’

The FROW regular concluded her post, sharing an inspiring message to anyone working to reach their dreams.

‘Bottom line is don’t ever give up even when you are holding on by a thread, you can do it!!!!! Set your mind to it and get it done because it feels soooooo good once you get to the other side! [sic]’

In less than 40 minutes since sharing her news the post has been liked almost one million times.

The post comes hours after Kardashian seemingly hosted a film screening at her Calabasas home, before sharing a screenshot of a scene in And Just Like That episode two featuring Sarah Jessica Parker.
