Yahoo Finance Liam Payne and fiancé reportedly split as she responds to photo of him "wrapped around another woman"
Liam Payne and fiancé Maya Henry have reportedly called off their engagement for a second time. News of their split comes just hours after Maya commented on a fan post, in which she said Liam was "wrapped around another woman."
The series of photos – which seemingly show the former One Direction cuddling with, holding hands with, and at dinner with an unidentified woman – were posted to a fan page on Instagram on 23 May. It's unclear when the photos were taken, or who the woman in the photos is.
Shortly afterwards, however, Maya commented on the post: "I love all of the fans so much but please stop sending me these pictures of my fiancé wrapped around another woman. This is not me and it's hard enough knowing this has happened without seeing it. Enough now." Her comment racked up over 30k likes within hours of being posted.
In response, a representative for Liam told People magazine that the couple had ended their engagement for a second time.
Liam and Maya met back in 2018, confirming their relationship in 2019 before getting engaged in 2020. But in June of last year they split – with the musician saying on the Diary of a CEO podcast he's "not been very good at relationships" – later rekindling their romance in October and going red carpet official at the London Film Festival.
Just two months ago, Liam told People that their engagement was back on, saying: "We're still here together, and we're very, very happy at the moment. Probably the happiest we've been."
