Lily Collins' chic 'French girl' bob is all you need to see today

With Kourtney Kardashian and Kirsten Dunst both rocking the look, the 'French girl' bob is making a comeback this autumn season. Though, did it ever really go anywhere? Now, joining the duo and embarking on her own Parisian journey is Emily In Paris star, Lily Collins. Whilst she has been, quite literally, living her best life in France (jealous, much?), by the looks of things she has also gotten a big bob chop. I mean, you know what they say, three's a crowd trend.

Lily took to her Instagram feed to post a few behind-the-scenes pictures taken whilst filming for the Netflix show. Ever since the very first season, her character, Emily has had long luscious locks. But from the looks of the first snap in her nine-part carousel, Lily teases that she may have had a chop.

I say that with some hesitation as with certain celebrities – especially those with demanding jobs such as acting – you never know what the real story is. Could it be a wig? A hair illusion? Or have they just had an autumn refresh haircut? At this point your guess is as good as mine – though, personally, I think her hairstylist, Mike Desir has pinned and tucked the mid-end lengths up and under.

Regardless, we think Lily looks great with her cheek-skimming bob and Audrey Hepburn-esque 50s bangs. Just take a look for yourself, below:

It's trés chic, oui? Shoutout Ms Ramnaut, my GCSE French teacher...

In the caption of her post, Lily shares her excitement for the upcoming season, writing: "Words can’t express how many emotions I feel when I finish each @emilyinparis season and this year is no different. We truly have the best, most dedicated crew there is and a cast I can call a family. Thank you for supporting, uplifting, and encouraging endlessly and working tirelessly to make it all happen. I can’t wait to share what we’ve created. Proud doesn’t even do it justice. Je vous aime tous!…".

And as much as we, too, cannot wait, our priority is to see this hair look in a better light. And what could this new look mean for Emily Cooper?! Let the countdown begin.
