Lily James just wore a frothy see-through dress to the British Fashion Awards

The British Fashion Awards took place last night, celebrating both local and international talent in the industry. Naturally, the event opened with a killer red carpet filled with incredible outfits. From Rita Ora's daring naked dress to Simone Ashley's breathtaking metallic gown, there was no shortage of A-list style moments. But one celeb that made us do a double take was Lily James, who went for a frothy see-through Rodarte dress.

Now, Rodarte's been a favourite of another British actor lately: Florence Pugh. This weekend, Florence wore her third look from the designer in as many months - a silky nightdress-inspired number, which comes hot on the heels of her two other sheer and lacey looks. Now, Lily is following suit with the 33-year-old stepping out in a showstopping white gown by the same name. The whimsical design consisting of sheer panels and dramatic organza flourishes looks like something straight out of a fairytale. In fact, Lily accessorised her dress with a pair of see-through platform heels reminiscent of Cinderella's glass slippers. Yup, the whole thing is a major vibe, and you've really gotta see it for yourself.

As we mentioned before, some of the other most notable looks from the night include Rita Ora's Nensi Dojaka naked dress (complete with prosthetic gills):
