Yahoo Finance It Looks Like Hailey Bieber Secretly Recreated Some of Jennifer Lopez's Best '00s Outfits

At this point, we've come to expect a little déjà vu while scrolling through Instagram or looking at the latest must-have celebrity outfit. Many of today's top trends are full on throwbacks, and fashion is currently experiencing Y2K round two. Still, for the past year or so, Hailey Bieber's tight dresses and cute crop tops have seemed even more familiar than most, and while it took us a while to pinpoint why, we've finally realized something: they remind us of stuff Jennifer Lopez loved in late '90s and early '00s.

Looking back to when JLo was shocking the world with low-cut Versace gowns, and even during that time when she coordinated with Ben Affleck, her looks were super similar to what Bieber wears today. The "Let's Get Loud" singer and the model both enjoy a little bit of leather, accessorizing with belts, and wearing bras as tops. And, once you see the side-by-sides, you'll understand why we feel these two icons are totally twinning.
It can also be argued that Lopez is still following the same fashion rules she always has, and that much of what she wore back in the day has remained in her rotation. It's further proof that both Bieber and Lopez (and, yes, their talented stylists) know what they're doing, and if we're looking for outfits that will always wow, these two serve as the perfect inspiration.
