Ever since sparking up a romance on Saturday Night Live Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have had quite the wild ride. From rumours, to controversies, to little hints of PDA, the past few months have been a whirlwind start to their relationship. Not least because Kim was in the midst of divorce proceedings from Kanye West when they first got together. Well, now, people have spotted that Kim edited out a pretty obvious Kanye reference in her latest post about Pete.
Kim and Pete, aka, Kete seem to be going pretty strong. After keeping most aspects of their relationship quiet for the first few months, the pair have recently been on several public outings together and the queen of Instagram herself has been posting more and more about her new boyfriend.
Recently, Kim dedicated an Instagram Story to Pete celebrating his eight-year stint on hit US sketch show Saturday Night Live, after he broke the news that he would be leaving the cast.
Commemorating his last appearance on the show over the weekend Kim posted a collage of images of Pete on the show, going all the way back to his first episode back in 2014 and right up until the most recent.
In one of the images in the collage Pete can be seen wearing a red cap with the words "Goodbye SNL" written on it. Except, take a closer look, and you'll see that the white writing on the cap is actually an Instagram text box, that someone has used to cover up what was actually embroidered onto the hat in the original image.
Well, that's because the original image shows Pete wearing a hat that reads, "Make Kanye 2006 Again." Yep. Awkward.
The skit was included in an episode from 2018, in which Pete referenced Kanye's support of Donald Trump's presidential campaign, and his recent appearance on SNL in a red MAGA hat.
Given, the whole Pete x Kim x Kanye drama that has unfolded in recent months it's pretty understandable that Kim might want to steer clear of getting back into it all. But, in that case, you'd think they'd do a better job of covering it?!
