“Love Is Blind”'s Jess reacts to Jimmy looking her up on social media: 'Pretty audacious of him'

"It just verified more that that wasn't my person," she tells EW.

Warning: This article contains spoilers about Love Is Blind season 6 episodes 1-9.

We may never know if Jimmy Presnell actually choked when seeing what he missed out on with Jess Vestal on Love Is Blind season 6, since the moment he saw photos of his pod ex for the first time unfortunately wasn't captured on camera. But Jess was ready to spill the details about how Jimmy tried to learn more about her on social media — and simply put, she is not a fan of how he went about it.

Jessica on 'Love Is Blind'

In the latest batch of episodes now streaming on Netflix, Jess met up with fellow cast member Laura Dadisman and revealed that Jimmy sent her a friend request just days after coming back from his post-engagement vacation with Chelsea Blackwell. But when she didn't immediately accept it, he rescinded it eight hours later, and then put his social media on private.

"I thought sending the friend request and then when I didn't accept it, him taking it back, was pretty audacious of him," Jess tells EW. "But it kind of just told me a little bit more about who he was, which I guess there's nothing wrong with that. It just verified more that that wasn't my person."

The first single mother to ever appear on the show had approached dating in the pods with an open mind, ready to find her husband and stepfather to her 10-year-old daughter Autumn. While she thought Jimmy was her man despite that fact that he was in a love triangle with another woman, she ultimately realized that wasn't the case when Laura tipped her off that Jimmy had told Chelsea that he loved her instead. In her final date with Jimmy, Jess gave this iconic sendoff: "When you see and realize what you missed out on, you are going to choke. You are going to need your EpiPen to open up your airways because you are going to be in disbelief of what you missed out on."

"None of it was planned," she previously told EW. "I went in there with just pure instinct and intuition, and I truly did not mean that he was going to choke because of seeing me physically. I meant in every sense of the word, because I know that I have so much to offer someone that he would definitely feel like he was missing out."

And although Jessica stayed for one more date after Laura warned her that she needed to leave the show to protect her own heart, she admitted she did consider walking out. "Initially, when I found out he told Chelsea that he loved her and would likely be proposing to her, I did plan on leaving right then," she said. "And then I went to sleep that night and I woke up the next morning and I was like, 'No, I owe it to myself to have a last word with him and have some closure to it.'"

So how will their first in-person encounter play out? Find out when the next batch of episodes of Love Is Blind season 6 release Wednesday on Netflix.
