Match Group on an upswing, Starbucks up, Novartis on the rise

Let’s check out the Yahoo Finance charts of the day.

Match Group (MTCH): Match is trialing with the Indian edition for its Tinder dating app, which gives women the opportunity for extra scrutiny and security before allowing men to converse with them online. The feature will roll-out worldwide if it’s successful in India.

Starbucks (SBUX): The coffee chain is planning an organizational shake-up which includes job cuts and eliminating some executives at the top level. CEO Kevin Johnson said in a memo that more needs to be done to boost sales and to speed the decision-making process.

Novartis (NVS): The pharmaceutical giant plans to cut more than 2,000 jobs as part of a global restructuring, the latest move by its new chief executive to refocus the company on higher-value drugs.
