From the savage takedowns and belief in girl code to coining the phrase 'community penis': it's official. We have a new contestant joining the Love Island hall of fame. And sorry Ekin-Su, but Zara Deniz Lackenby-Brown might have stolen your crown as our favourite cast member ever.

When you first switched on winter Love Island 2023, you'd be forgiven for assuming it was going to be the same old, same old, when it came to formulaic coupling up and the odd bit of pieing off.

To begin with, it was - the villa quickly descended into "wifed-off" mode, with the likes of Tanya and Shak and Ron and Lana feeling solid as a rock, closed off to getting to know anyone else.

And then walked in Zara, the first bombshell, who was clearly ready to unleash chaos with every turn.

Things first kicked off for Zara with Olivia Hawkins (who she knew from the outside world, btw), when Tom Clare's head began to turn towards her. Cue Zara's first incredible one liner of the season: "Do you think I flew 11 hours from England to pi** you off? Get over yourself Liv, get over yourself."

While Zara seemingly won the battle, it was Tom who lost the war, when Zara later discovered he had kissed the latest bombshell, Ellie Spence, on the terrace. "I can't sit on this bad boy piece of information," she seethed, marching immediately to tell Olivia what had happened.

And then came her reaction towards Tom, or should we say Mr "community penis", for his betrayal.

Fans on social media couldn't get over the carnage, hailing Zara as the ultimate Love Island contestant. As one put it, "I LOVE ZARA The chaos, the carnage!!! #LoveIsland"

Someone else said, " At this point ZARA IS LOVE ISLAND. She’s giving us drama, tea and entertainment like SHE GOT HER FIVE SECONDS OF SCREENTIME AND ATE IT UP!" while another fan put, "I swear if Zara gets dumped I will actually stop watching, she’s the best thing about this season #loveisland"

Others added, "Zara is bringing everything and more this season. Best contestant ever" and "Omg Zara is the ultimate Love Islander. Drama, drama, drama."

Others pointed out Zara was wearing an outfit from Ekin-Su's Oh Polly collection, proving she had learned from the ultimate teacher. "Zara wearing an outfit from Ekin’s Oh Polly collection, while doing what Ekin did best. We are witnessing an icon in the making #LoveIsland"
