You Can Now Rent Your Next Christmas Party Dress From Kate Moss And Carey Mulligan’s Wardrobes

In a season characterised by sequins, glitter and unfettered excess, the temptation to purchase yet another Christmas party dress is understandable – though far from sustainable. Inevitably, it too will join the other worn-once-and-rarely-again dresses of festive seasons past, soon to be relegated to the forgotten corners of our wardrobes.

The most sensible solution for those who don’t want to compromise on style, or that fabulous feeling of wearing something shiny and new? It has to be fashion rental, with its endless supply of party dresses straight from the wardrobes of the most stylish women around, and at a fraction of the price.

And now, Europe’s top wardrobe rental platform HURR has done one better with the launch of the ‘Rented Sequins Don’t Shine Any Less’ collection, made up of the perfect party pieces donated by the likes of Kate Moss, Carey Mulligan and Amelia Windsor – with all proceeds from the rentals going straight to Oxfam.

Launching today on HURR, at the top of our list is the stunning, one-of-a-kind Prada chiffon gown donated by Carey Mulligan, which is practically crying out to be worn on another red carpet (or more realistically, a high-octane festive event or winter wedding). And in at a close second is the perfect all-black suit hailing straight from Kate Moss’ wardrobe for a classically chic, understated look which still makes a high impact.

Other highlights include a glorious golden Erdem dress from Lucy Williams, the perfect Isabel Marant LBD from Ellie Goulding, a glittering Borgo De Nor dress from Stacey Dooley and a charming Miu Miu number donated by Amelia Windsor. Sustainability never looked so stylish.
