Oracle (ORCL) Gains As Market Dips: What You Should Know

Oracle (ORCL) closed at $94.87 in the latest trading session, marking a +0.16% move from the prior day. The stock outpaced the S&P 500's daily loss of 0.04%. Elsewhere, the Dow lost 0.14%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq added 2.14%.

Coming into today, shares of the software maker had gained 1.94% in the past month. In that same time, the Computer and Technology sector gained 4.01%, while the S&P 500 gained 5.1%.

Wall Street will be looking for positivity from Oracle as it approaches its next earnings report date. On that day, Oracle is projected to report earnings of $1.58 per share, which would represent year-over-year growth of 2.6%.
