Yahoo Finance Peppermint Oreo Bark Is Hitting Stores Just In Time For The Holidays
Peppermint bark is a delightful holiday treat all on its own, but adding crushed up Oreos to the sweet makes it even better. If you don’t want to put the effort into making your own this holiday season, you can take the easy route with Frankford Candy and Oreo’s new peppermint Oreo bark that’ll hit shelves this November.
Instagrammer @markie_devo shared a look at the new bark. It’s exactly what you’d expect: a white chocolate bar with crushed peppermint and oreo pieces on top and a dark chocolate dipped bottom. The bark also comes in a cookies ‘n cream flavor, which is basically the same as the peppermint flavor but without the peppermint pieces. The two-and-a-half ounce bars come individually wrapped in Oreo’s classic, blue-colored packaging with snowflakes on it.
The Oreo bark will be out starting next month at Walmart and candy stores that carry the Frankford brand, according to the Instagram account. You can find out more locations that stock the Oreo bark as they’re spotted by the account, so make sure to follow it to keep up.
In the meantime, you can already get your hands on gingerbread-flavored Oreos and white fudge-covered Oreos. Those will surely be able to fuel your holiday cheer until the bark comes out.
