Philips: 3Q Earnings Snapshot

AMSTERDAM (AP) _ Koninklijke Philips NV (PHG) on Monday reported net income of $338.3 million in its third quarter.

The Amsterdam-based company said it had net income of 36 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted to account for discontinued operations, came to 38 cents per share.

The medical imaging equipment maker posted revenue of $5.01 billion in the period.

Philips shares have fallen slightly more than 4 percent since the beginning of the year. The stock has declined 13 percent in the last 12 months.
